The honest answer
Ceramic coating from AED 1,999 with the machine polish included. Whether that money makes sense depends on three facts about your life, not on the shine in a demo video.
Is ceramic coating worth it?
Whether ceramic coating is worth it depends on three things: how long you are keeping the car, where it parks, and how often it gets washed. Keep the car for years, park it outdoors and wash it regularly, and the coating pays for itself in protected paint and easier cleaning. Return a lease next spring from a shaded basement bay, and the AED 1,999 is better spent elsewhere. Our ceramic coating includes the machine polish, so the price covers correcting the paint and then sealing that corrected state in.
Two jobs, done in one visit. First the paint is machine polished, because a coating locks in whatever surface it cures over, swirls included, and sealing in defects would be malpractice. Then the coating itself goes on: a liquid polymer applied in thin passes and left to cure into a hard, glossy layer that bonds with the clear coat. From that day, water beads instead of drying into mineral rings, dust releases with a rinse, and UV meets the sacrificial layer before it meets your paint. The 2-year and 5-year packages differ in product and longevity; the coating prices page splits them out.
| Your situation | Coating verdict |
|---|---|
| Keeping the car beyond the next few years | Strong case, the benefit compounds annually |
| Lease or resale planned within the year | Weak case, book a detail before handover instead |
| Parks outdoors, near sprinklers or under open sky | Strong case, this is the exposure coatings exist for |
| Covered parking at home and at work | Optional, gloss and easy washing are the remaining benefits |
| Washed weekly or fortnightly | Strong case, every wash gets faster and safer |
| Washed a few times a year at best | Mixed, the coating helps but neglect still wins eventually |
This is the biggest lever. A coating is an upfront cost that repays you slowly: cheaper upkeep every month, paint that still looks deep at year three, a stronger position when you sell. Owners who keep cars long enough collect all of that. Owners who change cars the way others change phones collect almost none of it, and hand the benefit to the next buyer. Neither choice is wrong, but only one of them makes the coating an investment rather than a gift.
A car that lives outdoors in this emirate takes daily punishment: hard UV through most of the year, dust settling every night, and garden sprinklers throwing mineral-heavy water that dries into etched spots by mid-morning. That is the exact attack profile a cured coating is built to absorb. A basement-parked car meets a fraction of it. If your car sees open sky at home or at the office, move the coating up your list; if it sees concrete ceilings at both ends, the decision is about gloss and convenience rather than survival.
Coatings reward people who wash their cars, which sounds backwards until you see why. On coated paint, each wash is quicker, safer and needs less product, so a weekly rhythm gets cheaper and the finish resets to showroom gloss every time. On a rarely washed car the coating still shields the paint, but bonded dust and baked-on water spots eventually need proper decontamination anyway. Think of the coating as an amplifier: it multiplies good habits more than it forgives bad ones.
We turn down coating requests more often than you would guess, and these are the reasons. The car goes back to the leasing company soon. The paint is failing, peeling clear coat or a respray on the way, and sealing a bad surface helps nobody. The owner expects scratch-proofing, which no coating delivers, and would end up disappointed. Or the budget only covers the coating by skipping the correction underneath it, which produces a glossy layer over swirled paint. In every one of those cases the honest advice is a wash plan or a detail, and we will say so on WhatsApp before taking a booking.
For the owner who keeps the car, parks it in the open and washes it on a rhythm: yes, clearly, and this climate strengthens the case rather than weakening it. For the short-term owner with covered parking: probably not, and a Full Detail at AED 999 before resale will do more for the handover than a coating ever could. Most people sit between those poles, which is why the three questions above matter more than any general verdict.
It will not stop stone chips, trolley dings or key scratches. Anything with mass and speed goes straight through a microns-thin polymer layer, whatever the marketing says. Physical impact protection is film territory, priced and explained in our coating vs PPF comparison. A coating also does not end washing; it makes washing easier. Knowing what you are buying is half of being happy with it.
Almost everything local pushes toward coating. The sun is fierce for most of the year and fades unprotected paint measurably faster than milder climates do. Overnight dust means a car is never clean for long, so the easy-rinse behaviour of coated paint gets used constantly, and hard water from hoses and sprinklers etches bare clear coat in a way it cannot etch a cured coating. How all of that plays out between May and September has its own page. The one local factor pushing the other way is the basement car park, the great equaliser of tower living.

Coating questions
A full day. The machine polish is most of the hours, then the coating is applied and needs quiet time to cure. We do the work at your location and schedule it so the car can sit undisturbed afterwards.
The product and how long it performs. Both start from AED 1,999 as a from-price and both include the polish; the 5-year package uses a harder-wearing coating for owners keeping the car longer.
Yes, age is not the issue, paint condition is. The polish stage removes the accumulated swirls first, so an older car often gains more visually from the visit than a new one does.
It will survive them longer than bare paint would, but machine brushes shorten any coating's life and mar the gloss. If tunnel washes are your routine, fix that habit first or the coating money is half wasted.
Often the best timing there is. New paint needs minimal correction, so the work is at the low end of the range, and the car spends its whole life protected instead of being rescued later.
As fixed-price add-ons, yes: Wheel & Caliper Ceramic at AED 349 and Interior Glass Coating at AED 249. Both use the same logic, seal the surface once, clean it easily for years.
Those three answers on WhatsApp get you a recommendation and a fixed price, even when the recommendation is not to coat.
